Ragheb Alama plans to conquer the big screen

For the first time in his career, Lebanese singer Ragheb Alama has decided to enter the world of acting. After the singer expressed his willingness to act if he is offered a good role in a film, countless movie scripts began to flood in. 

 

According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, Ragheb is currently looking through the many offers he has received so far in the hope of finding a suitable role in a film that would best suit him. Most of the film scripts that have come into Ragheb's hands revolve around a romantic and musical theme. Ragheb's new decision makes him the latest singer who has decided to add to his singing talents by acquiring an acting career as well. 

 

Through a miracle from God, Alama survived a reckless car accident that could have cost him to loose his life late last month. While driving down one of Beirut's crowded roads, the singer was hit severely by another car from the back, which badly injured the two men accompanying him.  

 

The car that hit the singer was driven by two British men who are working Lebanon. Raghab survived the accident in good condition as his companions were rushed to hospital to undergo emergency medical care.  

 

It was added that Ragheb had recently recovered from a nose operation that was done after he was experiencing difficulties in his nasal passageway. After he fully recovers from the operation and now the accident, the singer intends on returning to continuing his music career and begins preparations for his upcoming album. –Albawaba.com
