Prominent Lebanese singer Ragheb Alama has finally ended his contract with Muhsin Jaber, owner of Alam El Phan Production Company, and that after submitting his latest album “Al Hub Al Kibeer” (The Big Love), which is the last album according to their contract. Ragheb stressed that he is on excellent terms with Muhsin, but he does not intend on renewing his contract, or signing any other with a different company, refusing to give exclusive rights of his songs.

The singer announced that he does not like to limit the airing of his music to one party because it will lessen the success he strives to achieve. Ragheb has recently launched his latest music video "Nasini El Dunia" (Make me Forget the World).

Finally, after endless disputes that have building on for months between Ragheb and producer Muhsin Jabr, a truce was reached between the two sides. Alama agreed to the company’s condition of finalizing his album in order to be released during the Muslim holiday Eid Al Fitr.

With this truce, <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Mushin was able to save his company from a second blow, the first being when Egyptian pop-star Amr Diab left. The fruit of the cooperation between Jabr and Alama was three albums “Al Hub Al Kibeer”,“Saharouni El Leil and “Tab Leih”.
