Let’s hope this gig doesn’t get canceled too! Maybe it's because of her double whammy letdown in film and television earlier this year that Qamar has decided to take her talent to the stage. The Lebanese actress will enter the world of theater for the first time after she was nominated by producer and writer Muhyi Zayed to be the leading actress in the new Egyptian play "Inheritance" alongside actor Mohammad Ramadan.

The play hits up the hot topic of inheritance laws in Egypt and how the Egyptian people do not believe in them and refuse to abide by them.

According to Sayidaty.net, Qamar is currently in rehearsals with the play's cast under the direction of Essam Al Sayid. The show is scheduled for opening night during the Muslim holiday Eid El Fitr in Alexandria, Egypt.

The play is hoped to help revive theater production after a season of dormancy due to the unstable political conditions taking place in country.
