ALBAWABA - O.J. Simpson's ex-bodyguard Iroc Avelli, recently made headlines after claiming to reportedly have a recording of the NFL Legend confessing to murdering Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, according to TMZ.
Bloomington Police obtained access to the files through a USB drive and claimed to have found no evidence of O.J. Simpson confessing to the murders in question. The police added that the recordings only contained Avelli talking to himself.
Thousands of posts quickly swarmed social media making the late NFL legend trending again across several platforms including Musk's X (formerly known as Twitter) for all the wrong reasons.

According to documents, Avelli was arrested back in March 2022 when the police carried out a search warrant and obtained a green backpack with ammunition and other items inside it.
Two months after O.J.'s death in Jun. 2024, Minnesota's Bloomington Police received a call from an LAPD detective who said that they met with the ex-bodyguard and his attorney. After meeting up, both individuals claimed that among the items found in the green backpack mentioned above, was a USB drive that contained the recordings.
Back in 1994, Simpson was charged with the double murder of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman who were stabbed to death at Brown's condominium in Los Angeles. It was referred to as the "Trial of the Century" making it one of the most well-known trials in American history.
