ALBAWABA - A new shocking turn of events took place in the major drug operation in Turkey, after the arrest of a new set of Turkish stars with links to drugs.
The Turkish media community is witnessing ongoing controversy due to successive drug investigations that have recently affected a number of celebrities. Local news outlets revealed that as part of an anti-drug operation centered in Istanbul, new names emerged as police raids were carried out at several locations in coordination with the city's public prosecutor's office.
These operations led to the summoning and questioning of several prominent figures, and reports indicated that suspected narcotics were found at some locations. Legal proceedings related to these investigations are ongoing.

Media outlets said that the police have detained singer Aleyna Tilki, internet personality Danla Bilic, and actress İrem Sak; in addition, authorities have issued arrest warrants against Turkish actress and model Melisa Döngel and singer Yusuf Guney.
Earlier, a group of Turkish stars were also arrested within the country's anti-drug efforts, and their homes were searched, and they underwent a blood test. Some were freed while others remain under probe.
