Egyptian actor Noor Al Sharif has begun shooting the series A’elat Al Haj Mitwalli (Family of Haj Mitwalli), in which he plays the title character, a self-made man who marries four women simultaneously, according to the daily Al Gomhuria.
The series consists of 30 episodes written by Mustafa Muharram and directed by Mohammed Al Nukli.
Costarring in the series are Rashad and Nada Basyouni, Ghada Abdel Razzaq, Majedah Zaki, Hussein Al Shirbini, Rajaa Al Jiddawi, Mohammed Al Difrawi and the young actors Noorhan, Rihab, Monia, and Mustafa Shaaaban.
The series takes a long, hard look at the life and times of a polygamist.
Sharif told the daily that his character in this series was different from Abdel Ghafour in Lan Ae’sha Fi Jilbab Abi (I Won’t Live in My Dad’s Dress), adding that the series was not linked with the Egyptian citizen Ali Suwairki Shahriar and his case of polygamy.
The character marries four women who accept him out of their love, and not for his money. The youngest does not take any money from him, but when he wants to marry a fifth wife, she tells him to hit the highway.
Sharif describes the character as a man who has moderate education, wears modern clothes, uses a mobile, pays a lot of attention to keeping his hair tidy, and works as a textile dealer - Albawaba.com
