Egyptian prominent actress Yusra has decided to focus all her attention on the upcoming film “Reesh Al Na’am” (Feathers of Ostriches), which is scheduled to begin shotting of scenes in January 2004. the film is under the direction of Khaled Yousef and Egyptian actor Ahmad Izz will be costarring alongside Yusra.
According to the UAE based daily, Al Bayan, Yusra announced that she refrained from accepting any other work for the time until she completes shooting all the scenes for “Feathers of Ostriches”. The actress stressed that rumors about her participation in the film “Qisit Hubb” (Love Story) alongside Egyptian prominent actor Ahmad Zaki holds no truth to it. She added that she never held any kind of discussion with Ahmad over starring in a film together.
Yusra denied circulating rumors that she has gotten a divorce from her second husband over disputes that had been going on for some time, and resulted in a quiet separation between them. Yusra also denies rumors that she is involved in a new affair with young Egyptian actor Ahmad Izz El Din, who costarred with her in the Ramadan TV drama series “Malak Rouhi” (King of My Soul).
Yusra stressed that she is outraged over the rumors that have been created saying she does not know where people come up with such senseless gossip. She added that she is still married to her husband, Khalid Salim, and the two are enjoying a very happy and stable marriage.
Yusra noted that she is convinced that the rumors keep occurring due to the success she has been enjoying in her acting career, and people, who are spiteful, are just trying to cause problems and hurt her in any way.
Yusra has been witnessing ongoing success for her achievements in the acting world, whether on the big screen or on television. The actress has won many awards for her roles in different works, proving herself to be on top of some of the most prominent actors in the Arab world.
In a personal interview held with Yusra, she expressed that she can relate herself with the young generation of actors and directors very easily, due to the fact that despite her age she is a young child at heart. The actress revealed that she finds working with the younger generation to be a very challenging experience that calls for her to be daring and makes her forget that an age gap exists.
Yusra stressed that she is not afraid to express a woman’s feelings and needs on the screen, and who is not pressured by the restrictions placed by the community. For this reason, she finds working with Egyptian controversial director Enas Al Deghaidi to be very interesting and has in fact acted in four different films directed by Enas.
