Lebanese singer/actress Nicole Saba has denied circulating rumors that disputes exists between her and Egyptian actress Ghada Adel over the new film “Raq Al Habibi” (The Tenderness of a Lover), which stars actors Mohammad Muneer and Saed Hindawi.
Rumors had it that Nicole was nominated for the leading female role in the film but due to her preoccupation with other works was replaced by Ghada. It was added that disputes had erupted between the actresses over the role.
Nicole stated that no disputes occurred and that she had turned down her nomination without any hard feelings.
Nicole is currently filming the scenes for her new film “Amaliat Khatareh” (Dangerous Missions). The film is directed by Othman Abu Laban and costars Egyptian actors Mustafa Fahmi, Khaled Saleem, Tamer Hajras, Amira Kararah and Nabeel Eisa.
Nicole will play the role of a woman employed by the Mafia, and the mysterious character is unlike Nicole’s previous roles.
Nicole recently celebrated the screening of her latest film “1/8 Dastit Shayateen” (1/8 of a dozen devils) in Lebanon. The Egyptian Ambassador in Lebanon and a number of artists attended the event.
The film revolves around four crooks played by Nicole and Egyptian actors Mohammad Rajab, Khaled Saleh, and Lutfi Labib.
One of the crooks is caught in the act and he begins his journey through rehabilitation. He is convinced that he has accumulated enough wealth to stop stealing and to lead a normal life. However, the remaining three refuse to accept his decision and decide to rob him of his fortune so that he will be forced to revert back to a life of crime.
