Lebanese singer Nicole Saba has strongly denied circulating rumors that the idea behind her latest music video “Ya Shaghilni Beek” directed by director Nadine Libky originally belongs to Jiji Lamara Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram’s business manager. It was rumored that Jiji had already agreed with Nancy on filming the music video, but was shocked to learn that Nicole had stolen the idea.
According to the London based daily, Al Sharq Al Awsat, Nicole stressed that the idea for the clip belongs to Nadine and that she (Nicole) is responsible for what goes on between Nancy and Nadine and their work together. Nicole added that the nature of her work does not permit her to interfere in the business of her director with other singers, a matter which makes her strongly deny the rumors.
Nicole has accepted a role in the new film “45 Days” alongside Egyptian actress Hanan Turk, marking her second acting experience, the first being alongside side Egyptian prominent comedian-actor Adel Imam in “A Danish Experience”. Nicole revealed that she had accepted this film in particular despite the many other offers she had received due to the fact that the story of the film really attracted her attention, and she feels it will add tremendously to her acting career. The new film will also costar Hind Sabri, Khalid Abu Al Naja and Izzat Abu Ouf, and is a first time experience for its director. Nicole announced that she will begin shooting scenes for the new film in the very near future.
