Lebanese artist Nelly Maqdisi recently completed a remix of the song “Mistanyak” (Waiting for you), which was originally sung by the late Egyptian artist Azizah Jalal. The song was composed by the great composer Baleegh Hamdi and written by the legendary musician Muhammad Abed Al Wahab. Nelly wanted to reward the great late artist and musicians by performing the song “Mistanyak”.
According to the London daily Elaph, Nelly’s colleague famous Lebanese artist Nancy Ajram had also performed the same song “Mistanyak” and found great success in performing it. Critics wait to compare between the two Lebanese artists and their performances.
On the other hand, Nelly is preparing to put her voice on a new solo single which is written by the poet Safooh Shaghala and composed by Ziad Barji. She is also getting ready to film the new song into a video clip with the director Randa Al Alam.
