Lebanese superstar Nawal Al Zoghbi appears glamorous in her new clip for her song “Leh Mishtalak” (Why I Miss You).

According to the London daily Elaph, the clip is directed by Saed Al Marouq from Lebanon.

Nawal appears in three different looks, wearing dresses designed by the famous Lebanese designer Eli Saab.

The first scene was filmed on the beach at the “Sur Reservation,” in Lebanon, where the beautiful scenery combines the sea and wheat fields. In the second scene Nawal moves to a totally different place in a high rise building in Beirut, but is wearing the same clothing. The director chose a building in the Al Hamra shopping area near the American University Hospital, where there are many glass windows.

For the third scene a stage was built at the “Forum Due” building in Beirut.
The British photographer Jan Paul came specifically to work on the project.
The forth scene was also filmed in the “Forum Due” building.

Director Saed Al Marouq said that the scenes in the video clip represent emotional stages, for example the roaring sea represents anger, the cityscape represents coldness, and the wheat fields represent a calm and soft image. He says that Nawal played out every image with perfection. He also adds that he challenged himself with this project, because he knows what a great artist Nawal is and he wanted to make something new that will add to her success.
Saed Al Marouq said that Nawal has great talent that exceeds many female music artists, because “she knows how to interact with the camera.”

Nawal said that she finally found the right director who can translate the images in her head into real pictures. Nawal liked working with Saed Al Marouq.

Nawal is very pleased with the new clip and hopes that it will satisfy her fans as well.
