Kuwaiti singer Nawal has revealed that she has sought the assistance of a number of Lebanese composers during her recent visit to Beirut in order to study the possibility of adding some songs in the Lebanese accent in her upcoming album, which she had already begun preparations for. The singer has met with Lebanese composers Ziab Boutrus and Marwan Khoury and listened to a number of compositions, stressing that adding different styles to her album that is to be produced and released by Rotana Music Production Company, will help her gain more success.
The singer had attempted to sing in a different accents then her usual Kuwaiti one in her latest album. Nawal sung the song “Bis’aloni Alaik” (They ask me about you) in the Egyptian accent and was able to gain significant success. The singer’s visit to Beirut included being a guest on the popular show Maestro on the Lebanese satellite television channel New TV.
Recent rumors have stated that Nawal is seriously thinking of living in Beirut – Lebanon, and may in fact find a permanent apartment. The singer’s career has been revolving around her being present in Lebanon, where she shot her most of her music videos. – Albawaba.com
