Earlier this week, Lebanese singer Nawal al Zughbi denied all rumors saying she wasn’t paid all the fees for her latest concert in London, according to Asharq al Awsat newspaper.
Al Zughbi, who launched her latest CD "Elli Tmanetoh" (The Person I Wished) in early August and started her 2002 promotion tour, commented on the rumors saying, "I took all my money (for the London concert) in advance, even before leaving Lebanon". Explaining that it’s always her condition to take all her concerts’ fees at the time of signing the contract.
Surprising all fans with her new 2002 look in the latest video clip for her CD’s head song "Elli Tmanetoh"(The Person I Wished), al Zughbi promised she would be shooting other songs from the CD, and that she would be working on new surprises in her upcoming album.
Last June, the London-based Asharq al Awsat newspaper reported that al Zughbi was gearing up to shoot a 25-minute documentary film depicting her life history. The documentary, produced by al Zughbi and directed by Toni Qahwaji, was said to be shedding light on her personal and social life as well as her career life. - Albawaba.com
