Lebanese singer Nawal Al Zoughbi refused to undergo a second plastic surgery on her lips after close friends advised her to go back to her natural look. Nawal had previously underwent surgery to enhance her lips for her new look.
Several news sources revealed that the singer intends on keeping the same look for her upcoming album. Nawal feels satisfied with the look she has acquired for her latest album "Ili Itmanaito" (The One I wished For) and refuses any suggestions by people to change her image again.
On a different note, close contacts to singer revealed that the singer has recently completed shooting the new music video "Bilba'lak" (It Suits You) and intends on airing on the Lebanese Broadcasting Company (LBC) satellite channel first. The singer has returned from Iraq recently where she held a concert in Baghdad.
Nawal's 2002 look has been a curse more than a blessing for her. Despite the huge success of her latest music video "Elli Tmaneitoh", she tried hard to shake off accusations that she was trying to imitate the Latin-American pop-icon Shakira.
Zoughbi had asked her image consultants to work hard on creating a new look for her. “I’m not the Arab Shakira and would never be. I don’t see that my look in ‘Elli Tmaneitoh’ is like Shakira’s, but I promise that I’d appear in a new and different look in my upcoming music video.”
The eldest among three brothers and one sister, Zoughbi made her debut in the music world in 1988, with her participation in the TV show, Studio Al Fan. She was awarded the 'Best Singer' award on several occasions throughout her career. - Albawaba.com
