Lebanese singer Nawal Al Zoughbi was recently in Cairo where she filmed an episode for the television program "Al Bait Baitak", which is aired on the Egyptian television Network during the holy month of Ramadan. During her stay in Cairo the singer recorded three songs as part of her preparations for her upcoming album.
Nawal is also scheduled to film an episode for the program "Haidi Di El Ghinieh" (This is the Song) on the Lebanese Broadcasting Company (LBC) to be aired in the upcoming few days. Nawal revealed that she will hold a performance during the Muslim holiday Eid El Fitr in Dubai alongside UAE singer Sa'oud Ibn Sultan.
Nawal had recently ended her contract with Alam Al-Fan Production Company and it is almost confirmed that she might be going back to her first production company Rotana. Meetings have been taking place to rejoin the star within Rotana's big family.
Nawal had a meeting with Prince Walid Bin Talal, owner of Rotana, in Beirut during his brief visit to Lebanon. Prince Walid also met George Wasouf, Alissa, Assi Hillani, Fadel Shaker, and Najwa Karam but no further details were revealed about the nature of these meetings.
The singer has revealed in a personal phone interview that she has broken her contract with her production company Alam El Phan despite the fact that according to the contract she must submit one more album.
Nawal refused to give the details behind the breakup stressing that the matter was settled peacefully with the consent of both parties. The singer did reveal that she is against Alam El Phan's policy of broadcasting the work of its singers on specified channels only, mainly ones owned by them. -Albawaba.com
