The Lebanese artist Nancy Ajram delivered her first baby named “Meela,” and baby and mother are both doing well. Meela arrived on Nancy’s birthday May 16th.
Nancy chose to stay in the hospital for three days to make sure that her newborn is in great health.
Nancy and her husband the famous Lebanese dentist Fadi Al Hashem named their baby an Arabic name that is popular in villages and small towns in Lebanon. “Meela” means a good tree that has many branches.
Nancy has finished recording a new song for her baby which she called “Ya Rabi Tkaber Meela” (Oh God Let Meela Grow), and the song was aired on Lebanese radio.
