Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram has proven that she is a successful singer with every meaning of the word after her recent performance at the Jordanian annual summer festival Jarash. The singer also proved that she is not a mere seductive performer in video clips, but is a very talented person whom people of different ages and gender came anxiously to hear her sing.

Nancy’s concert in Jarash was very successful in the sense that she was very wise in approaching her audience and made it a point not to commit the same mistake as her colleague Lebanese singer Alissa, whose performance at Jarash was marked with failure. Alissa had used the Play Back technique in her performance and was very rigid with her audience the matter that made everyone angry and regret going to watch her.

Nancy had taken into account that the way she acts on stage will be the marker of her success and so she rehearsed her songs over and over before her concert to make sure that her appearance is perfect. Nancy also wanted to show the audience that she respects them enough not do the play back technique with them, which basically means moving your lips with the music.

Ajram started a new fashion trend in the Middle East after she showed up in her latest video clip “Ah Wi Nos” wearing a galabia; a traditional Egyptian dress.

Vendors at the Abha shopping festival held in the city of Abha in Saudi Arabia stated that female visitors were hailing into a store that sells traditional Egyptian dresses, galabia, asking to buy galabia similar to what Nancy Ajram was wearing in her clip.

Nancy Ajram participated in the Jordanian annual summer Jerash festival, marking her second time. Nancy concert was marked with remarkable success as crowds of fans interacted with her and sang along all her songs.

Recently and despite all the temptations Egyptian comedian-actor Mohammad Huneidi offered Ajram to take part in his play “Tara’yo” in the final week of the screening, the singer refused to accept on the grounds that she does not wish to enter the acting world at this time. The singer stressed that at this point she will not accept any offers to act, focusing her efforts on her singing career only.

The producer of the play had previously agreed to sign a contract with Nancy regardless of the wage she wished, stressing that her participation would definitely bring in enormous profits. The producer also revealed that he is willing to negotiate with Nancy the possibility of accepting a leading role in his upcoming film alongside Huneidi. -Albawaba.com
