Nancy Ajram immune against unjust criticism

Lebanese young singer Nancy Ajram has achieved great success in a relatively short period of time. Nancy says that she had always dreamt of being a famous singer since she started in her childhood. Nancy says that she is more confident now, after participating in big festivals like Jerash and Carthage, that her she is making her dream of popularity come true, reported the London based daily, Al-Quds Al Arabi.  

 

The young singer says that the more famous she becomes the more she gets stressed wanting to keep her success and offer her fans better work and performance. About the continuous criticism she gets, Nancy revealed that she appreciates productive and positive criticism but when it gets personal she only becomes silent. Nancy commented about her activity in Egypt by saying that the ban on her video clips is a mere rumor and everything is going well there. 

 

Nancy’s business manager Jiji Lamara nominated director Nadine Labki to direct her upcoming music video stressing that she is a very creative and talented director. Nancy noted that her first two albums targeted the young generation and that’s why all the songs included fast rhythm but in the future she will be working to satisfy all tastes.  

 

Ajram has signed a contract with the international soft drink company Coca Cola to be its official spokesperson for the Arab world and abroad. Nancy was offered a very generous amount, which was not revealed, to be the star of the soft drink company for the upcoming few years. The first commercial for Nancy will be shot in September under the direction of an international director. The singer revealed that this is a major opportunity for her and proves that her popularity is widely spread throughout the world. Nancy added that if she was not capable of being a talented singer, she would not have been chosen by such a prestigious company to be their official spokesperson.  

 

Ajram is in the process of shooting a new music video for from her latest album, and will be directed by Nadine Labky. It was revealed that there is a scheme of not airing the song on any satellite music channel, in order to have the song “Ah Wi Nus” take its full share, especially due to the fact that it has so far witnessed enormous success in terms of words, music, and filming. -Albawaba.com
