Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram recently made a guest appearance on an episode of the popular show “Wa Ibtda El Mishwar” (And the Journey Begins). On the show Nancy conveyed an air of maturity, yet maintained her image of almost childish innocence, as she spoke openly about her personal life and her career.
Nancy discussed how she began her journey into the music world at an early age, along with her relationship with her parents and childhood memories.
The singer revealed that she longs to be a mother and described the characteristic of her idea of ‘Mr. Right,’ whom she hopes to meet in the near future.
The episode aired Thursday June 28 on the Lebanese Broadcasting Company “LBC” satellite channel.
Nancy asserted that rumors claiming she has joined production company OTV, known as ‘O Music,’ are false, according to the London based Elaph. Rumors claimed that after months of ongoing negotiations between Nancy and ‘O Music,’ allegedly conducted in complete secrecy, an agreement had been reached for the company to exclusively distribute and produce all of Nancy’s albums, songs and music videos.
‘O Music,’ owned by Egyptian tycoon Najeeb Sweiris is newly established, but is making great progress by attracting singers.
Previously, business manager Jiji Lamara produced all of Nancy’s work.
Nancy stated that she has running contracts with several different production companies and discussed the nature of the contracts.
