Lebanese singer Najwa Karam is currently holding negotiations with Lebanese director Nadine Libky for the direction of her upcoming music video.
Najwa explained she is pointedly trying to work with different directors for her clips to add a sense of variety to her style.
The singer is hopeful the two will reach common ground, to mark the beginning of a fruitful cooperation.
Najwa was scheduled to hold a concert at the Global Village in Jordan on July 14, but had apologized at the last minute for being unable to perform.
She is due to hold a number of concerts around the Arab world this summer starting with Algeria, Syria, and Lebanon.
The singer’s managing office revealed that in July, Najwa will for the first time in her career hold a performance in Brazil, after receiving a personal invitation from Lebanese citizens residing there.
Najwa has completed recording the songs for her upcoming album, after releasing the song and music video for “Shu Jana” (What Came About Us), filmed under the direction of Saeed Al Marouq.
