Lebanese director Saeed Al Marouq decided on a storyline for the upcoming music video for Lebanese singer Najwa Karam for the song “Shu Halhala” (What’s this Beauty).
According to the London based daily, Alsharq Al Awsat, Najwa’s business manager Karam Tareq Abu Jodeh, who is also her nephew, confirmed that the rumor of the singer taking part in a new film is not true, and that starting an acting career is not on her current agenda.
Najwa will be taking some time off from her hectic schedule. She especially needs to relax after her most recent tour in the United States of America, he added.
Recently Najwa took part in a musical alongside actor Yousef Al Khal, as part of her latest music video, directed by Salim Turk. Turk transformed the singer into a theatrical star, like those of the popular ‘Rahbani’ plays.
‘Rotana Production Company’ released Najwa’s latest album “Kibber El Hub” (Love got Greater). The album features eight new songs, many in the traditional Lebanese style that initially earned her popularity. The singer worked with some of the best composers, like Emad Shams El Din and Wisam Al Ameer on the album.
