Egyptian actors Nour El Sherif, Najlaa Fathi, Farouq Al Fishawi, and Mahmoud Abdul Aziz will join forces with a cast of Kuwaiti actors to take part in a new film. This will be the first time actors from both countries join hands to send out a message to audiences all over the Arab world.
According to the UAE based daily, Al Bayan, the film revolves around the September 11th attacks on the US and how it affected Egyptian and all other Arab societies. The story of the film will start out with a student who dreams of going to America and a businessman who suffers from the downfall of investments due to the attacks making him loose lots of money. The film is directed by Kuwaiti Walid Al Awadi and will feature a number of prominent Kuwaiti actors.
On a different note, Najlaa received the “Golden Moreks” prize in Lebanon in September last year. She proved that she still holds an ongoing glamour, has won the golden prize for the most loved Arab actress. Najlaa expressed her joy and said that it is a real honor to receive a prize based on the opinions of audiences everywhere in the Arab world. –Albawaba.com
