Actress and ex Miss Lebanon stunner Nadine Njeim said that she is not afraid of losing her acting career after she gets married and has kids. The model-actress is planning to officially tie the knot next month and has ruled out the possibility of being forced to choose between her marriage and acting career. She feels confident that there will be no surprises, since she has addressed everything with her soon-to-be-husband.

Risking it all

In an interview on May 29th with “Al Nashra Al Faneyyeh” (The Art Report) program on Al Jadeed TV station, Nadine happily declared: ”I am getting married to my fiancé Asmar next month and I don’t see this move as a threat to my popularity or career; on the contrary, it might be just the push I need to improve and go that extra mile in performance”.

Nadine, the 2007 crowned Lebanese beauty added: ”I’m not scared of being a wife and a mother in the future, it is the natural thing to do and I don’t think that I will be jeopardizing my career as certain actresses might imagine”. Peer actresses will speculate!

The daring Lebanese actress confirmed that any provocative elements in her work are there because they are deemed fitting with the scenes and only promote the storyline. She point-blank refuses to do any gratuitous scenes placed solely to generate audience interest.

I'm fine with love scenes!

She moreover emphasized that she is not against doing 'bed scenes' tastefully, if none of her intimate body parts are revealed and subtlety is the order of the filming with more hint and suggestion than filmed action. She also added for good measure that in cinematography there are many techniques that can beguile the audience into believing that a certain 'act' is being performed while in reality it is not. Leaving no doubts that she would be 'acting' rather than engaging in any intimacy in the name of her work.

Nadine finally talked about her role in one of her movies where she appeared in a bikini, saying that this did not bother her or the audience in the slightest.

And that is that!
