Production Company ‘Rotana’ is preparing to screen the film “Hareem Kareem” (Kareem’s Woman) in Gulf countries, starting with a welcoming ceremony at ‘Media Production City’ in Dubai including leading actor Egyptian singer Mustafa Amar, and GM of cinema production at ‘Rotana,’ Ayman Halawani.
The film is a romantic comedy, and enjoyed success during its first week of screening in Egypt. After receiving numerous requests, ‘Rotana’ decided to screen the film in Gulf countries, including Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and the UAE.
Screen writer Zeinab Aziz announced that she has almost completed the script for a new film to be directed by Ali Idrees and Mustafa, the same charismatic duo that produced “Hareem Kareem.”
The new film is titled “Isabit Al Dactoor Omar” (Dr. Omar’s Gang). Zeinab refused to disclose any further details, but did reveal that Egyptian actor Hannan Turk has been nominated for the leading role alongside Mustafa.
Filming of the first scenes is scheduled to begin in February 2006.
