Prominent Egyptian actress Muna Zaki stressed that she has no intention of leaving Egypt if Islamist parties came into power. She added that she is confident that the entertainment industry in Egypt will not be affected by such drastic shifts in power.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Muna took part in the second round of parliamentary elections in Egypt, but refused to reveal the candidate’s name that she voted for, fearing that revealing her choice will affect that of others.
With regards to leaving Egypt if Islamist came into power, Muna stated that with respects to others opinions, she will not flee her country under any circumstance.
