Muna Zaki refuses new look

Young Egyptian actress Muna Zaki has refused to undergo a new look for her upcoming film "Al Ishiq Wal Hawa" (About Love and Romance), which she is currently filming. Muna was able to convince the producer of the film that she has the ability to express the character she is playing, who is a singer and pianist, without having to make drastic changes to her looks.

 

Muna has been consumed with her film that is a fated love story, directed by Kamelah Abu Thikri, and set to the backdrop of a romantic musical score.
 
Muna has revealed that she will present a surprise to her audience through her role as a singer in the film. The actress is currently taking voice lessons, and hopes that her fans will approve of her newfound singing talent.
 
She and actor Ahmad Al Sakka have been reunited in the film after a three-year separation. The film also costars Muna Shalabi and Ghada Abdul Rizik.

Zaki turned down a proposal by Egyptian actresses Salwa Khatab and Intisar to join a partnership for a new production company that will support rising actors and present new ideas to Egyptian cinema.
 
Muna stated that she has neither the expertise for production, nor is she financially capable of becoming a partner. She prefers to stick to her acting profession alone, the actress determined.
