Muhammad Hifthi, creator of the film “Aswar Al Qamar” (Moon’s Fence), denied rumors that the leading star of the film, Egyptian actress Muna Zaki, is suffering from psychological problems.
Delays in filming started the rumors.
Hifthi said the delays were caused by changes that he and director Tareq Al Aryan had to make.
Filming will start in August before the winter season, because several scenes take place under water.
Muna plays the role of a young woman who looses her sight and must overcome many obstacles.
Muna has recently declined a number of parts in television dramas to focus on films.
