Young Egyptian actors Ahmad Al Sakka and Muna Zaki have reached an agreement with Egyptian singer Angham to star in the new film “Min Al Ishiq Walhawa” that is written by scenarist Tamer Habib. Filming of the scenes has been scheduled to begin once Ahmad completes his current film “The Italian War”.
According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, the scenarist is taking advantage of the current time to make some alterations on the script and decide on the perfect locations to shoot the scenes, which is most likely to take place between Cairo, Aswan and Alexandria. The film is a romance musical that revolves around a love story that is destined for failure.
On a different note, Angham completed recording the songs of her upcoming album in order to have it ready for release before the summer season. Angham has announced that she will begin shooting the scenes for her new movie “Hikayet Madina” (City Story). Angham has revealed that she will enter the acting world through the film marking her first acting experience and leading role. Angham noted that she decided to accept the role in the film after reading the script and falling in love with the story, which she reveals had drawn her to it.
The singer is holding extensive work sessions with the director and producer in order to finalize all the remaining details before filming. In the film, Angham will play the role a singer named “Hayah”, who is living the dream of fame. The film will take viewers into different stages of the singer’s life to reveal how she achieved her success. The film, which is the first for Angham, is also the first directing experience for actress Farah, who will also produce it.
