Egyptian actress Muna Shalabi has resumed her acting career after recovering from a leg operation she underwent last month. Muna will begin shooting the scenes for her upcoming TV drama series "Al Banat" (The Girls) alongside Omar Al Hariri as well as a large number of prominent Egyptian actors, reported the London based Elaph.
Muna was shocked to discover red spots on her legs that had resulted from bursting of blood vessels. The actress was forced to use large amounts of make-up to cover-up the spots while shooting the last scenes of her upcoming film "Film Hindi" (An Indian Film). The actress was surprised when she realized that the problem with her legs is more serious than she had anticipated. Blood clots had started to become evident forcing Muna to undergo surgery immediately.
After her surgery, the actress took three days off to rest and regains her strength. After barely recovering she was called in by producers to resume previously scheduled sessions for recording scenes for two new films she is taking part in. One of the films she will immediately begin filming is "Ow'I Wishik" (Watch Out) with actor Ahmad Rizik, and the second "Bahibak...Ana Kaman" (I Too…Love You) alongside Egyptian singer Mustafa Qamar.
End of January, Muna finished shooting scenes for the movie that is out in Egyptian streets “Kalim Mama” (Talk to Mother) that revolves around how the strong bond of two young couple helps them overcome the hardest obstacle which is the refusal of their bond by their families. The love they share helps them conquer all barriers and transform the outburst of hatred from their families to love.
The script is taken from Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” but changed into a satirical comedy that suits the modern era. The film will include a large number of musical scenes.
Ablaa Kamil, Hassan Husni, Dina, Ahmad Zaher, and Maha Ahmad costar in the film. The script is written by screenwriter Mustafa Al Sabaky, and directed by Ahmad Awad. The film is currently being screen in cinema houses across Cairo. –Albawaba.com
