The famous Egyptian actress Muna Zaki and her husband the Egyptian comedian Ahmad Helmi have signed a contract to take part in the new television drama series “Al Jama’ah” (The Group). The new series is written by Wahid Hamed and will discuss the history of the Islamic movement the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt.
The new series is the first project that will bring Zaki and Helmi together since they were married.
The producer of the new series Kamel Abu Ali will hold a press conference in the coming days that will include the stars.
The series will also include the Jordanian actor Eyad Nasar who will play the role of the movement’s founder Hasan Al Bana. The famous Syrian actor Jamal Suleiman will also take part in the new series.
Filming of the new series will commence in the next few days and it will be aired during the upcoming Ramadan season.
