Music channel MTV hopes a special feature called Comic Sutra together with tips on losing your virginity, will lure young people to its new Indian website.
"MTVindia.com aims to create a whole new lexicon and way of life that the youth in India can identify with," said Andery Purushottam, managing director of Asiacontent.com, which provides material for the site.
"We have Comic Sutra, a section that pokes fun at the Kama Sutra, and Blousefull, which will review all the C-grade movies.
"In our Tantric Toolbox there will even be tips on how to lose your virginity."
A Romance and Sexuality section offers a heady mix of education and entertainment and "everything mom and dad will not tell their children," he said.
Puroshottam said 75 percent of India's Internet users were in the 15-34 year age group.
MTV is received in over 15 million homes through the cable network and MTV Networks Asia, a joint venture of MTV Networks and Universal Music, owns and operates three 24-hour programming services. - AFP
