Prominent Syrian singer Mayada Al Hinawi is heading to Casablanca to attend a special ceremony in her honor. The singer has been chosen as the ‘best Arab’ by the Moroccan Information Ministry and the Association of Singers.

According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, Mayada will be holding several concerts in Morocco and Algeria in celebration of their National Day.

Upon her return from Northern Africa, the singer will resume recording the songs for her upcoming album.

Last year, Mayada denied rumors alleging that disputes had erupted between her and producer Muhsin Jabr, owner of ‘Alam El Phan’ Production Company.  She affirmed that she had no intention of breaking her contract to sign a new one with ‘Rotana.’

The singer revealed that she is on excellent terms with Muhsin and that she has just renewed her agreement with the company.

Jabr has agreed to release a new album for Mayada every two years, and will handle the necessary preparations and advertisements under the contract.
