ALBAWABA - Syrian actor Mohammed Osso announced his return to television drama after a 15-year absence, starring in the series "Bint Al-Nu'man" in the 2026 season. He expressed his surprise that younger generations continue to remember his previous characters.
Mohammed Ossostated told ET Bil Arabi that the familiarity of his characters to young children reflects the simplicity and accessibility of his comedic style.
He specifically mentioned the character "Kasmo" from the 2005 series "Bokra Ahla," which he also wrote the script for, and which marked the beginning of his artistic career.
Osso explained that his return in the series "Bint Al-Nu'man" was the result of a "remarkable coincidence" when he met the cast and crew during pre-production.
He considered this a positive sign for the project's launch, noting that director Saif Al-Sheikh Najib is the son of the late Mohammed Al-Sheikh Najib, director of the series "Bokra Ahla," which added a symbolic dimension to his return.
