Saudi mega-singer Mohammed Abdo will perform a concert next Sunday at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London, as part of a series of summer concerts by Arab stars in London.
The London-based daily Al Sharq Al Awsat quoted the concert organizers, Ahmed Al Askari and Zakariya Faraj, as saying that Abdo would sing with the Al Masiyya Musical Group, who is guided by the maestro Walid Fayed.
Fayed’s name has long been associated with Abdo’s, ever since the latter decided to return to singing after a long absence.
The young musician could take the place of the late musician Ahmed Fuad Hassan, the founder and head of the Al Masiyya Group, which has accompanied several renowned Arab singers – Albawaba.com
