Director Khairi Ibshara was forced to stop the filming of his new television drama series “Malh Al Ard” after Egyptian actor Mohammad Subhi slapped actress Wafa Amer during the shooting of one of the scenes. It took the director four hours to try and calm Wafa, who was all shaken up from the hard blow, down.
The incident occurred during the filming of one of the scenes in which there is a verbal war between the two actors and it was apparent that Subhi was so wrapped up in his role that he accidentally hit the actress for real. Subhi’s fingers marked Wafa’s face in red making her explode in tears. The actress was immediately surrounded by the cast of the drama all trying to calm her down.
Subhi apologized to the actress stressing that he did not know what came over him and that he did not mean to hurt her in any way. Subhi that he was so taken in by the scene of the drama and really felt like he was the person he is playing.
Recently, Wafa wemt through a very hard time after a crazy fan tried to break in her apartment leading her to hire a private bodyguard to accompany her wherever she stays and goes. Wafa had noticed this guy watching her and then she discovered that he lives next door, so she tried to call his family to convince him to leave her alone and the guy's mother told Wafa that her son is currently seeing a doctor because he is suffering from a mental illness.
Wafa thought that things were settled but one day she left her apartment for work and got this phone call from her mother telling her that the same guy is trying to break in the apartment looking for her. The police were called and the guy was immediately taken to prison. -Albawaba.com
