After a thirteen year absence, Egyptian comedian actor Mohammad Saed will be making his comeback to television in the new drama “Shams Al Ansari”.  In this new series, Mohammad plays the role of suburban man from the town of Saeed named Shams Al Ansari, who is both a thief and a gentleman.

Shams steals from the rich, who make their money through corruption and taking advantage of others, and he gives that  money to the poor.  This heroism naturally leads him to be called the ‘Arab Robin Hood”.

The budget for the drama that marks the actor’s return has reached 65 million Egyptian pounds. The story and direction are done by Jamal Abd Al Hameed and the other actors featured are Mahmoud Al Jundi, Liqa Al Khamis, Ahmed Azmi, Rami Wahid, Sabri Abd Al Minem, Najla Badr, Aydah Riyadh and Samira Muhsim costar alongside Mohammad Saed.
