Tunisian singer Latifa has welcomed her nomination for a leading role alongside prominent Egyptian actor Mohammad Muneer in a new musical film.
The film is Muneer’s biography, depicting his journey through the entertainment world.
Per Muneer’s request, the film will be directed by Jocelyn Saab. The screenplay is still being written.
Muneer would like the film to begin in his hometown Aswan, among his family and life long friends.
Muneer revealed that he chose Saab out of his admiration and respect for her work. He previously worked with her on the film “Dunia,” which has yet to be screened.
The singer stressed that he will place enormous efforts on the production of the film so that it will meet the highest standards, and he Will release the film in English, French and German to be screened in different European countries where he has a fan base.
