According to the London daily Elaph, the young Lebanese artist Miryam Fares arrived in Lebanon few days ago on a private plane, because she could not any available seats on a commercial airline.
Miryam decided to rent a private plane to make a scheduled appearance on the famous music talent show “Star Academy,” aired last Friday.
Rola Fares, Miryam’s sister and business manager said that the director Toni Qahwaji and the crew of the music talent show “Star Academy” were in constant contact with Miryam since the episode is aired live.
Miryam was stranded in London for three days after a performance at a private wedding due to the inclement weather conditions caused by the ash clouds from Iceland’s volcano.
