The Egyptian actress Mervat Amin is currently reviewing the script of a TV series on the life of the Lebanese writer, May Zayadah, who was renowned for setting a literary salon for the art stars of her time.
The series is written by Ahmed Bahjat who nominated actor Farouk Al Fishawi to play the role of poet Jubran Khalil Jubran in front of Mervat Amin.
According to Akhbar Annujum magazine, Mervat attributed her long absence from the big screen since she wrapped up her film “Ayyam Assadat” (Sadat Days) to the lack of a suitable offers that is different from what she has done.
