She may not have been the first choice for the part, but Maysoon Abu Asaad has snagged a role in the sixth part of the popular Syrian drama "Barb Al Harah".
Syrian actresses Sulafa Mimar and Nisreen Tafish were the initial candidates for the character of the second wife of Syrian actor Abbas Al Nour's character "Abu Issam", but after they both turned down the part, one by one, Maysoon saved the day and added another television show to her career history.
In the drama, Maysoon plays a young French woman that worked as a nurse in one of the hospitals in Damascus during the French occupation of Syria. Abu Issam meets the French woman during his medical treatment at the hospital she works at and falls in love with her and (shh, don't tell) ends up marrying her.
According to Sayidaty.net, Abu Issam's first wife 'Umm Issam', which is played by renowned actress Sabah Al Jazaeri, becomes outraged after finding out about the second woman, especially since she will be living with her in the same house.
Fans of the starlet can get excited to see her on-screen soon as parts six and seven of the drama are currently being filmed in Damascus.
