Prominent Syrian singer Mayada Al Hinawi was finally able to end problems with her production company, Alam El Phan, and is expected to release her album entitled “Rige’na elba’dena” (We are Back Together). Mayada expressed her sadness to the deteriorated situation of singing and added that it is not expected to get any better in the near future. About starting an acting career Mayada said she considers herself not a good actor, and entering the acting world would mean jeopardizing her image.

Mayada revealed that poet Mohammed Hamza originally made one of her songs in the new album “Meen Fil Aashe’een” for the late Egyptian singing legend Um Kulthoum and tunes by the late composer Baleegh Hamdi and words.

Mayada will go on a tour around the Arab world, which will take her to Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia and other countries. Al Hinawi has revealed that she has refrained from singing songs that are long and has shifted to the more upbeat short songs to fit in the modern age of Arabic music. The singer stressed that in order for any artists to keep going, he/she must alter him/herself with the moving times or he will remain in his place and will eventually fadeout.

The singer stressed that she was not absent from the music scenes, but she had personal issues that kept her from holding live performances. Mayada revealed that her recent marriage was one of the reasons she did not hold any concerts. –Albawaba.com
