The young Egyptian actress May Iz Al Deen was rushed to the hospital after she fainted while filming “Omar And Salma 2.” She was diagnosed with having kidney stones.
Director Ahmad Al Badri said that May is now doing well and is again filming her scenes.
May decided to have surgery to remove the stones, after filming is complete. Her doctors approved that her return to work and said there is no danger to wait a few weeks before taking out the stones.
May will also start filming the scenes of her newest television drama series “Gadiyet Safyeh” (Safyeh’s Case) at the beginning of summer. The drama series is written by Ayman Salameh and directed by Ahmad Shafiq. The series will star Salah Abduallah, Tareq Lutfi, Hanan Mtaw’, Majed Al Kidwani and Shawqi Shamikh.
The story of the series revolves around a local village girl played by May. Her father dies and a new brother of hers appears asks for part of their father’s inheritance. She refuses to give him anything and supposedly kills him. The court sentences her to death by hanging her, yet while the ruling is about to take place she discovers that her brother is still alive.
