Celebrity husband Maxim Khalil is keen to defend celebrity wife's honor to dispel rumors of female jealousy poisoning their marital bliss. Syrian actor Maxim Khalil categorically denied rumors about his actress-spouse, Sawsan Irshaid's jealousy from peer actress Cyrine Abdel Noor, also his co-star in the Lebanese hit series "Ruby".
Khalil issued a comment regarding his life-partner and co-film-star in the Syrian acting world: "my wife Sawsan Irshaid is a highly rated actress in the Syrian film circuit who carries a lot of clout." In a red-herring statement that seemed more about his pride than aquitting his wife of jealousy charges, he went on to defend her technical film credentials at length. She knows the workings of film from the inside - what filming a scene is really like, how it's edited and how it appears on screen". This may well be an allusion to his wife understanding that the finished product on screen did not always match the process entailed in getting the edited version. The wife is aware apparently of the disparity between the work and the fiction crafted for the small screen.
He went on to say that, Cyrine is my friend, I value her friendship and my wife knows that after filming a scene with her she is still my friend.
Khalil, who has been hob-nobbing around Europe for film awards (incidentally with wife in tow) inbetween intense filming has also also recently spoken of being quite exhausted. After eight arduous months of filming the Lebanese-made series "Ruby," alongside co-star Cyrine Abdelnour, Khalil has openly admitted that he is in need of a long break.
