Adel Matooq, husband of the late Lebanese artist Suzan Tamim, will file a lawsuit against the program “Al Qahirah Al Youm” (Cairo Today), aired on ‘Orbit’ satellite channel.
Adel claims the host Amro Adeeb showed pictures of Suzan’s murder without permission, to capture viewers.
Elaph will also be the target of a suit for publishing the same picture.
Suzan’s father Abed Al Satar Tamim recently called the program “Al Haqiqah” (The Truth) and said that Suzan’s husband Adel took a check for US$50,000 from Prince Al Walid Bin Talal for one of the concerts Suzan held in the “Marina” (Egypt) when she was living in Egypt.
Adel said that Suzan’s father is to blame for what happened to her, because of his relationship with Hisham Talat Mustafa.
