Lebanese singer Mariam Fares may accept the leading role in a new joint Lebanese - Egyptian film to be shot in Egypt, Lebanon, and Tunisia.

According to the London based daily, Al Sharq Al Awsat, Mariam is preparing to film two music videos for songs from her latest album under the direction of Wisam Samira, director of her most recent clip "Ha'lik Rahtak" (I Will Disturb your Peace) filmed in Paris.

Samira chose the crowded streets of Paris for the setting to give Mariam a romantic and natural appearance. The video features the French Gymnase Marie Bella, one of the oldest dance theaters in Paris dating back over 250 years.

"I Will Disturb your Peace" was written by Mariam's sister, Rula Fares, and was composed by Mohammad Raheem.

Mariam recently held a charity concert for the Love and Faith Association at their annual dinner celebration at the Movenpick Hotel in Beirut.

Mariam accepted the invitation to hold the performance with great joy and stated that she was honored to sing for a worthy cause, believing that every artist should take part in charity work. Proceeds from the event went directly to needy families in Lebanon.
