Lebanese singer Mariam Fares is currently in Dubai to take part in the launching ceremony of the new Indian television station “Be Arabia”. A number of stars participated in the big event, especially from India.

According to the London based Elaph, the station is intended for Arab viewers and will feature a variety of Indian programs.

after her Dubai stop, Mariam will head back to Lebanon to take part in a grand performance alongside prominent Lebanese singer Fadel Shaker. The singer is then scheduled to head off to Europe to film a new music video “Haklik Rahtak” (I am going to disturb your peace of mind).

The singer has not made a final decision regarding the director for the clip, but rumors have it that the choice will fall between director Wisam Sameerah or Ameer Kiradieh, who directed her recent clip. Filming of the clip will most likely be in Hungry.

Fares has suddenly and at the last minute pulled out of the film “Al Harb Al Alamieh Al Thalitha” (World War Three).

Mariam was about to sign the contract for her role when the deal was called off because of the extremely high wage her business manager was demanding. The producer of the film refused to agree to the singer’s manager condition of paying her 10 thousand US dollars in addition to 3 thousand for every filming day she has.

Previously, Mariam had agreed to star in the new Egyptian film, written by Sabri Al Huwari.

Young Egyptian actor Ahmad Izz and Tunisian actress Hind Sabri star in the film.

The film is a real-life drama about the possibility of a third World War erupting in the Arab world.
