Moroccan actress Maisa Moghrabi hates nothing more than peeps interfering in her personal life. In an interview with host Amir Karara on “Al Khazna” (The Safe), Maisa said that she'd rather have people think she's stuck up than stick their noses into her private business.

Maisa really has no faith in people; she told Amir that she keeps her distance from everyone because she knows they'll end up hurting her one way or the other. Hold on a second, before judging Miss M, you must know that those emotions didn't come from nowhere! The now-strong actress revealed a very intimate secret about her previous marriage.

Maisa has finally opened up about her darkest secret: the starlet said that she was a victim of domestic violence. Her husband would regularly physically and verbally assault her, to the point where she would hit him back. Naturally, the physical pain can be forgotten, but the emotional and psychological torment cannot, according to the troubled starlet.

But what came over the 'mad man' to anger him to this extent? Maisa said that her ex was a very jealous man, who just couldn't handle her fame as a celeb! According to Elaph news, Maisa turned to antidepressants as a coping method with her ex-husband's cruel actions.

As a result of what she went through, Maisa said she now has a phobia of marriage. Despite that, she's currently engaged and hoping for a fresh start this time around.

Best of luck this time around, Maisa.
