Many celebrities sadly do split up with their spouses, but some can at least keep things civil post-divorce. That’s certainly not so for Jordanian singer Mai Selim and her former husband, Ali AlRifai.
The region’s sassy songstress/actress recently appeared as a guest star on the talk show “Samar Wa Al Rijal Walaken” (Samar and men, but) with Egyptian TV personality Samar Yusri spilled out her feelings about her divorce, which she stressed is permanent.
“We are different in every way. When lies enter a relationship, it ruins everything. He lied a lot, but he didn’t cheat on me,” she said.
When Samar the show host touched on the sensitive subject a hypothetical situations where Mai’s ex would take away their daughter to live with him, Salim snapped, “
Jordanian singer Mai Selim, confirmed that she is currently single. She is not ready for a relationship at the moment as she is recovering from a bitter, and painful divorce.
