Madeline Matar on “Sawalifna Helwah”

According to the London daily Elaph, on one of the latest episodes of the entertainment show “Sawalifna Helwah” (Our Chats Are Beautiful) the Lebanese artist Madeline Matar was a guest. The entertainment show is presented by a number of co-hosts like Miriam Ameen, Farah Bin Rajab, Ibrahim Al Badi, Rita Khoury, Marwan Abdullah Salah, Bashar Ghazawi and Nolia Mustafa.

 On the show Madeline announced that the film “Akher Kalam” (Last Word) is the one film that she wanted to enter into the Egyptian cinema with. She said that she had read many scripts but found the personality on the film “Akher Kalam” suited her the most.

She added that she had turned down many scenarios for a number of films. Madeline also started talking about downloading songs through the internet. She said “despite the fact that the songs get popular among listeners, but the production companies are the most damaged in this process.

The co-host Bashar said that there should be harsh legal actions in the Arab world in order to protect the artists and production companies from those who download songs from the internet.
