Controversial Egyptian superstar and belly dancer Lucy is preparing to shoot her upcoming music video.
“The clip is provocative and will surely be attacked by negative criticism,” the signer revealed.
Lucy refused to disclose any other details regarding the new clip, other than its anticipated success.
According to the London based weekly, Laha, Lucy noted that she does not fear negative criticism, for as long as she is satisfied with her work, nothing else matters.
Lucy expressed her disapproval of Egyptian singer Ruby and Lebanese singer Maria’s dancing abilities presented in their music videos, citing a lack of talent.
Suddenly and without prior warning, Lucy withdrew from her role in the play “Al Nas Nus Nus” (People Half Half), appearing at the National Theater in Cairo.
Despite Lucy’s enthusiasm and preparations for the play, she withdrew after a heated dispute erupted between her and the director.
Lucy asserted that she had no other choice but to withdrawal from the play, since none of her requests were taken into consideration. There was also a lack of cooperation between the crew, she added.
